A: He studies in his room
or He's in his room doing?

Re: Study
Q: What is he doing?
A: He studies in his room.
A: He's in his room studying / He's studying in his room.
Does that help?

Re: Study
Unfortunately, Casi, my teacher did the vice-versa.
He said that the one above is correct, not the bellow one

Re: Study
All right. So, then, what's your question?
-
Re: Study
Question is "What is he doing"?
-
Re: Study
I get that part.
I was talking about what you had said about your instructor. What would you like us to do?

Re: Study
To pick up the right answer from the two above
My teacher said the right one is" He studies in his room"

If you look at post #2, you'll find the answer to that question has already been provided.

That was yours, Casi, here's my teacher's choice:

I understand your question, Belly T. The advice I have is this. You may want to consider approaching your instructor about this. S/he is the only one who can explain the choice made. Possibly, it was an error; possibly, it wasn't. You'll have to check that out with your instructor.
Does that help?
