where's the error?
Hi, i wonder if there's an error in this statement and what is it?
"Tap water maybe not healthy enough to drink"
Re: where's the error?
The word 'maybe' is an adverb. Using 'maybe' in the sentence means that there is no verb in the sentence.
You need to use may and be as verbs (i.e. separate words):
"Tap water may not be healthy enough to drink."
