Olanpassit
Hello, I'm having problems with another of Bridget Jones's expressions when she's supposed to be drunk.
"Argor es wororrible. Am olanmpassit. Face collapsin."
What's she supposed to mean by "olanpassit"? Thanks

Re: Olanpassit
This is something that is written by Bridget Jones when she was drunk. Those words do not have a normal morphological structure, they have no meaning. At least I don't know what she was trying to write.
Does anybody else have a suggestion?

I get everything expect the passit part:
Arg, it's horrible. I am old and past it (?) passive (?). My face is collapsing.
ol(d)-an(d)-(a)m-passit(?)

I agree with you, Cas - "old and past it " fits neatly.

I have read something on the internet, so I thought it's possible...
What about it, and what did you read on the Net that you think is possible?

Gee, that indeed was a dream... omg...

Jason, your contributions need to be meaningful at least in some way to the person who posted this thread. Normally, I would've deleted a response such as the one you just posted.
I trust you understand that this is not a chat-line, but a help forum for students.
All the best.
