Enquiry letter

Hello, I'd like to send an email to a Computer Science Research group, in order to
find out if they offer the possibility of doing internships for university students and to enquire about their main research themes. Would you please take a look to this draft? Is it ok, or should it be made a bit more formal (e.g. by replacing that "working at", which I really don't like) ?

Dear Sirs,

I am a student of Computer Science at the University of Cagliari, and am writing this e-mail because I am interested in the activity of research of the NDA group.
I would like to have more information about the projects that the group is currently working at, especially as concerns mobile applications development and J2ME programming.
I would also like to know if the group offers the opportunity of summer apprenticeships for Computer Science students and/or if there is the possibility of collaborating with NDA group as a form of stage activity recognized by the university.
