Default Verb tense in this sentence

Hello, everyone. This is my first post, and I'm glad that I know this site!

Ok, here is my question..

I was wondering which verb tense is used in the sentence below

"Many people are always concerned about getting as much money as they want."

Especially this sentence, "Many people are always concerned..."

I have checked on some english lession websites and it seems like simple present tense with a passive-sentence form, am I correct?

Ok, I just looked up the word concerned..and I found out that it's an adjective word by itself.

I thought the word "concerned" in the sentence is the pass tense of the word "concern", and I guess that

was why I misunderstood the verb tense.
