Default Any one know this book?

In 1990 I ran across a book in the Columbia book store.
It was a book for English Language Learners, and consisted of short humorous passages by different authors. After each passage there was a discussion on why the passage was funny under the heading of "Getting the Joke." I even remember that one of the passages was by Garrison Keillor called "Living Flag." The only thing I don't remember is the title of the book.

Does this description ring a bell to anyone?
