Could you please help me what wrong in these sentencees:
- One of the essential features of the modern skyscraper is being the elevator.
- The snowy egret is about the size of large crow.

The snowy egret is about the same size as a large crow.

The egret is specific; the crow is not (they can be small, medium or big/large).

Pardon me, but the first sentence?
I would say simply "is an elevator" not "having an elevator."
