Hi Bob
A boy saw a man wearing tattered and torn clothes, asleep under a tree. His torn shoes were beside him. Feeling pity for him, he put twenty dollars in one of his shoes. Then he waited for the man to wake up so that he could confirm that the man saw the money and kept it.
I wonder if 'kept' is correctly used here.
Thanks in advance.
It is fine.
Thanks, Anglika.
