I'd like to know the difference betweent "to become part" and "to enter" and, I also need your help in choosing, among those three sentences, which one I should use. THANKS
1. The good result of the audition made him become part, of the “OrchestraSwing”
2. The good result of the audition made him enter the"orchestra Swing"
3. Thanks to the good result of the audition he entered/became part of the "Orchestra Swing"
I agree with most of what you say, but if there was an audition shouldn't there be an element of acceptance? So [coincidentally, I've changed the wording a bit to suit a family success! (my daughter, who plays a mean sax)]
'As a result of her good audition, Emily was accepted as a member of Swing Band/she was allowed to join...'

Well - congratulations!
Thanks, both(And apologies for re-naming your orchestra, Minnie - the chance was just too good to miss!)
