Question English exam

hello.
i am having an english writing exam tomorrow and i was wondering if it could lift my grades up if i used idioms in my essay..?

Not necessarily; if the idioms are approriate to the style and fit the text, they could help, but simply including idioms is not a guarantee of a higher score.
