Health club

Hello, there!:-)

I would like to know which is the correct verb to use when talking about health clubs. Do you "join" a health club? Do you enrol a health club?Do you make an inscription in a health club? Besides, I would like to know if Gymnasium and health club can be used with the same meaning.

Not quite ;-) You 'make a subscription to a health club.'

The two have meanings that often overlap. Health clubs tend to offer more - maybe a jacuzzi, a sauna, sun lounge... A place that was a Gymnasium may 'close for refurbishing' and then re-open as a health club (with increased membership fees, of course;-)). Places that don't have room for a decent-sized gym (hotels, businesses...) often crowd a rowing machine and a couple of exercise bikes into a broom-cupboard and call it a 'mini-gym').
