    Default seeking an englisg expression...

I am seeking an expression to imply this:

I am talking, for instance, with a coleague of mine and we have a little disputes over, lets say, procedures at work. We are looking for a compromise and he offer solution. I reply in shock: "Nothing can be worse than that!!! Its maximum you can be allowed to.

The key expression is bold. How else can i utter that? Any idea?

    Hope my question was intelligilible.
