1: Anything which starts with vowels that combined sound like "y" - iatrogenic/European/use(r) - or "w" - one

2: Words beginning with "h" = hono(u)r/herb/hotel/honest - where the consonant is either lost or aspirated

"S" starts with the sound /e/ like in "USA"

ah, ok...it's because in my country people are used to pronounce acronyms as words...like Sap instead of S.A.P. sorry about the stupid question.

Well, I think if sap is used as a noun with the meaning of a dupe, it shouldn't be followed by another noun and must be preceded by "a".
"He's a sap"!
