Thank you for your kind help to understand English everytime.
Now would you help me with the prepositon of the following sentence?

#1 February is the coldest month ( ) the year.

I think you say " in the world," " in the team" and " of them all", etc in the comparative sentences.
Which preopsition should I use, "in" or " of" with #1 ?

You would use "of" there. The idea is that the year is made up of months. :wink:
