    Default lexical density in regards to emergent readers

    Could someone please explain what the relevence is in regards to lexical density in the context of teaching emergent readers?

    Is is that texts with a high density of voc should not be chosen for the teaching of emer readers? That's maybe a matter of cognitive overcharge for those readers.
