I wonder if the " humanity" is the right word in the following sentece.
As technology develops quicly, people will lose humanity in the future. Accordingly, our society will be drier than now.

I think it can be used, in this sense -
• noun (pl. humanities) 1 humankind. 2 the condition of being human. 3 compassion or benevolence
The first sentence is fine. I would reword the second one: Accordingly, society will become harder than it is now.
