society will be drier than now
As the technology develops quicly, people are more likely to spend their time in front of computers. They do not socialize with other people and they don't have interest in other people's life. people will lose their humanity in the future. Accordingly, our society will be drier than now.
I know dry means (opposite of wet)
I am wondering, how society could be `drier'.
Please explain the bold parts.
