Thank you for your respond, I don't have any sentence now, just one of my students asked me to explain the difference and the usage of these words..
I hope the following is a help to you and your students.
Here are some example sentences:
I continue to study hard.
I keep on studying hard.
I carry on studying hard.
I go on studying hard.
These all mean exactly the same thing.
Notice, however, the different structure with 'continue'. It is followed by to and the infinitive. The others are all followed by the 'ing' form of the verb.
One other comment - 'I go on studying hard' is perfectly correct but it is not used as much as the other forms. It is falling into disuse.
