There is a advertisement on the newspaper as follow:
** A leading private jet operator seeks applications for the following position:
"Corporate Flight Attendant (Singapore-based)" **
I know what flight attendant is, but :
- what does "Corporate Flight Attendant" stand for
- What the differences between "flight attandant" & "Corporate Flight Attendant" ?
Thanks.
"Flight Attendant" used to be "Air hostess/steward". They are the people who work on board the airliners serving food and drinks. "Corporate" - Since it is a private operator, I am not sure what this means - apart from making the job look more important.
I think that it means the aiplane (or airplanes) are owned by the company, so you will only be serving on the company-owned airplanes - on the corporate jets. You would probably only be flying with very high-level members of the company who are entitled to use the corporate jet.
That certainly would make sense.
