need help

what can i do to improve my writing,my speaking and my pronunciation?last week i failed an exam because i was not enough quick to finish it in two hours.And the teacher told me that i have to think in english not in french(i come from a french speaking country).I have been in South Africa for eight months.

Practice is the only answer - read as much as you can, write as much as you can, listen to English-language programmes. If you have particular problems, we are always here to try and help you.

If you like looking at magazines, always choose the English language ones!
