    Default Neighbor

    Which of the following sentence is correct:
    please hand it over to my neighbor

    OR

    Please hand it over to my neighbors

    ( I think if it is more than one person then we use 'neighbors' and if it is a single person then we use 'neighbor' - is this correct?)

    Just to your knowledge, rachyrachy, the British English equivalent for the American English 'neighbor(s)' is 'neighbour(s)'
