for me it sounds correct, i guess that in the second sentence "very" its used to don't sound so repetitive, to don't say again just "lazy".
so they added the very to sound a bit different.
Once there was a lazy ant. He was very lazy and played all the time.
Is it okay to use 'lazy' in the first sentence and 'very lazy' in the second? If not, could you please rephrase the sentences for me?
