Communication is essential in the kid growth. When kids spend time in their houses they have time to be near their family. Doing household tasks, even if it is not fun for kids, is very useful because this time being in house is essential for their growth. A kid learns a lot of things in school, but is important to be near their parents to be a good person. Parents teach their sons specific things that are useful to survive. Doing household tasks teaches kids how the world works, who does the things, how, why, etc. Also, teaches kids to be independent because they learn to do things by their own and defend from the world. For these reasons and more, doing household tasks is very useful for a kid and its family.

To children, helping in their houses is important due to the fact that they start to make time for their family. Kids spent a lot of time out of their houses and sometimes the only time they see their parents is during dinner. Cleaning the dinner dishes is something that someone of the family has to do, knowing that the lady that cleans works until 6 pm. This dinner dishes have to be cleaned by someone, why not by the kids and parents? Communication is essential and introducing a routine making necessary to every member of the family to talk, especially to kids, gets the family together. Other household tasks such as sweeping the house, gives time to the kid to communicate with people that they wouldn’t have time, if they weren’t doing households.

Doing households have an educational value in kids because they learn that magic doesn’t organize their rooms. They may learn interesting facts such as the effort that is needed to clean a room. If a kid understands that the mess he does is cleaned by someone, in most of the cases by the maid, he could understand that lady and her situation. Caring about her and trying to do her work lighter not messing it all, will probably make him learn to be respectful. When kids don’t communicate with their parents, they get sometimes a wrong idea of what he is. In the future, the problem will become humongous because he might think that because he has money he can be rude and insult everyone. In their houses kids learn how to say “the magic words” (thanks and please), very simply words and often not used by the XX century kids. Kids acquire a lot of values in their houses such as common sense, solidarity, taking decisions and to share what they have. This foundation gives some instruction about how the kid must react in some situations.


Doing households make kids more independent. The nature of humans is to grow by the side of their moms and to go away as soon as they can defend from the world. Doing households such as buying food from the supermarket, organizing their beds and room, cooking, sweeping are simple things they will need in their future. Knowing how to cook will prevent them die of hunger or not to depend on another person to eat. In any hard situation he will be prepared to defend by himself. Doing domestic shores prepares people and makes them independent and this is useful to survive in the outside world.
