What exactly do you mean? If you mean teaching students to recognise the forms, then just select a few at a time and do them, with frequent revision.

I think that the only way to really learn irregular verbs is practice. Fortunately, there are plenty of opportunities for that, as the irregular verbs tend to be used more than the others. A good example of that is the verb to be: am, is, was, were, etc.

BTW, it's not a list of words that is as hard to learn as it might seem. Emphasize the most common ones first (run, see, do, make, etc.). Also, remember that when an irregular verb takes a prefix its tenses, forms, etc. are formed the same way as the base form with the additon of the prefix. For example, all the forms of outrun, overrun, and rerun are spelled the same way as the base form.
