    Which pronoun, I or me, is correct in the following sentence?

    This is Dave and______ at Lake Tahoe.

    Hello Unreg,

    I would myself use "me", on the grounds that I wouldn't say "This is I at Lake Tahoe".

    However, some people would no doubt say "This is Dave and I".

    (I would be interested to hear the views of other members.)

    I feel the same way; I have never gone for the 'It is I not It is me' argument.
