May I know the major, brief differences in defination among :

**psychic, spiritual, emotional, mental***

I know I will find very difficult to digest the in-depth theroy of each but just the major/brief/simple differences would be good enough for me!

Mental = relating to or occurring in the mind
Emotional = relating to the emotions; showing emotion; easily affected by emotion
Spiritual = relating to or affecting the human spirit[soul] or to religious belief
Psychic = relating to phenomena that are apparently inexplicable by natural laws - typically telepathy or clairvoyance.

I did check with the dictionary but they put the same defination for all in Chinese. Can I try to make examples for those I understand as follow:

• emotional - anger, frustration
• spiritual - superstitious
• mental - optimistic
• psychic - ghost

Am I right?

• emotional - anger, frustration An emotional response can result in anger; it can also result in unhappiness or happiness. It is the reaction of the emotions to something. If you see a film that is sad and you cry, you are having an emotional response. If someone is rude to you and you feel angry, that too is an emotional response.
  
• spiritual - superstitious No. As an example, the Dalai Lama is a spiritual leader - it implies an awareness of things that are beyond materialistic matters.
  
• mental - optimistic No - this tell you that it is related to the way in which the mind operates, whether rationally or irrationally. You do mental arithmetic - add, subtract, multiply and divide in your mind without using pen and paper.
  
• psychic - ghost To be psychic can mean that you are sensitive to things that no-one else can feel or identify. This could indeed mean ghosts - some people seem to see them quite freely. It can also mean that something is related to the psyche - that indefinable part of the human nature also called the soul.
