Default Performance vs Practice

I have a problem with the translation of "performance" to Spanish. The very problem is the diference between that word and "practice". "Ejecution" and "representation" do not fit. Is "activity" a good choice?

Ej(ecution) is Spanish! :D Ex(ecution) is English!

Performance is desempeño, but I need more context in order to give you the wright answer.
Practice is práctica or ejercicio, and again, I need more context!
