Default Re: adverbs and adjectives

Welcome, rainbow12345.

The word adverb means, add to a verb. Adverbs modify or tell us more about a verb. The word adjective comes from a Latin word that meant add to (a noun). Adjectives modify nouns.

Does that help so far?
