calculation
How do you read those expressions below?
6+4=10
6-4=2
6X4=24
6:4=1,5
Thank you in advance

Re: calculation
Six plus four equals ten, six minus four equals two, six times four equals twenty four, and six divided by four ( or six fourths) equals one point five.

Re: calculation
You usually write 1.5 (not 1,5), don't you?
Thank you

Re: calculation
In Britain, a radix point separator is being marked by a dot, so is in The United States.
That's why you say ''one POINT five''.
It differs, depending in which country you are. You come from Italy, and there a comma marks a radix point.
All the best!
