    "Life was made for us to live it day by day, as we donīt know if we will be here tomorrow"

    - Is this sentence correct? Any suggestions? Any problems in structure?

    It's correct. Some might remove 'it'. You could also start 'We should live life one day at a time/day by day, as we donīt know if we will be here tomorrow'.
