Question Is this right?? (part 2)

Is it RIGHT to ask, "How did you spend your time last weekend"?


Kindly explain to me if there's any mistakes in the sentence above.

It's correct, though 'What did you do last weekend?' sounds more natural to me.

It's a correct sentence, however, it doesn't quite mean the same as "what did you do last weekend?"

"Spend your time" is calling for a more detailed response about how the time was used.

- What did you do last weekend?
- I went to see my mother

- How did you spend your time last weekend?
- I spent three hours driving to my mother's, then four hours at her house, then out to a restaurant for dinner for two hours, then three and a half hours driving back home.

Actually, I thought of the same meaning of what you just explained about the sentence, "How did you spend your time last weekend? " . . . thank for your explanation in reinforcing my thoughts about it.
