let me know the meaning and usage of the idiom take no nonsense

nonsense means insolent talk or behavior, impudence.
In the example 'I take no nonsense from my pupils' (or: I wouldn't take any nonsense from my pupils) one means:
'I don't tolerate their insolent behaviour'.

I don't want to labour the point here (I know nobody misunderstood or took offence). But it's worth underlining the point that "Understood?" sounds a bit terse: a parent who's bought a big present might say "Until Christmas, the study is Santa's workshop - so don't go in there. Understood?"
A gentler way, when talking to a student, would be to say 'Is that clear?' or 'Do you understand?'
