Default Small question about a setence...

Jackson who is in charge of statistical analysis, would like the research team to meet for discuss the alllocation of tasks.

This is wrong setence, so I make it correct by

1) ... meet to discuss the ...
2) ... meet for discussion on the ....
3) ... meet for discussing the ....

All of them are possible?

I'd use 1). 2) needs the indefinite article 'a discussion'. 3) is not recommended.
