Would you like to go out this evening? - expresses a polite invitation to go out.
A: Do you like to go out this evening?
B: I'm afraid I haven't got any money.
is this sentence correct or does it need replacing with would you like to go out?
Thanks in advance:)
Would you like to go out this evening? - expresses a polite invitation to go out.
But would the sentence be completely incorrect if we used do you like to go out ?
Yes, it is correct to say:
Do you like going out / to go out?
However, the meaning of this question differs from that of 'would you like going out/ to go out?'
Above, it is simply a question asking if you enjoy going out.
