Default style and personality

"As an actor your style and personality must come through."
Does this mean something like "You as an actor must have
your own distinctive style and personality"?
Also, what does this 'style' mean? Mental or physical?
Thank you.

Default Re: style and personality

It could be many things: the style of acting, types of roles, appearance, etc.
