grammatical errors

I am an Admin Asst in a company and going to send out a message with the context as below, but not sure whether any grammatical errors or indecent wording. Pls coment.

'If you receive the circular(s), you are asked to read it through and pass it to the next or return to Marieuni'

wording is somewhat confused. u can say the same sentence. if u receive the letter, please go through and forward to etc
