I'd like to know which order is correct, #1 or #2. Would you help me?
#1 My mother made my favorite cake for me for my birthday.
#2 My mother made my favorite cake for my birthday for me.
#3 My father bought a ticket for tonight's concert for me.
In the case of #3, I think "for tonight's concert "should follow "a ticket."
However, I cannot decide which should be forward, "for me" or for my birthday."
Could I have some commet?

#1 & #2 are both OK, though I'd leave 'for me' out as it's implied in 'my birthday'. Only a cruel mother would bajke a cake for someone else on her child's birthday.![]()

I agree with TDOL, that the "me" could be left out of the first. :wink:
