Adjuncts, Adverbs and Adverbials

Dear Sirs,

What are the differences in meaning between "Adjuncts & Adverbs", "Adverbs & Adverbials" and " Adverbials & Adjuncts"? When I looked up the Definitions in the Grammar Glossary of this site, I found that their functions seemed to be more or less the same. Your advice is much appreciated. My regards.

Adverbials are phrases like function as adverbs, so they are very similar. Adjuncts would include both adverbs and aderbials. You're right; their functions are more or less the same.
