    Question Present perfect continuous and present tense

    Hello, what are the differences between these sentences?

    1. She has been playing tennis since she was eight. ( Present Perfect Continuous)

    2. She plays tennis since she was eight.(present tense)

    The second is basically incorrect- we shouldn't use a present tense with a past time reference like that even if it continues to the present.
