virtual, tenses
I am wearing a virtual shirt of Indian cricket team.
I was watching T.V. when the giant was coming nearby my door, suddenly I thrown my book, which I kept in my hand, to the giant through the window.
Please correct this two sentences of mine.

Re: virtual, tenses
I think Gary is going by this meaning of virtual: 1 almost as described, but not completely or according to strict definition.
It can be used in this way: "I am wearing a shirt that is virtually the same as that used by the Indian cricket team."
I was watching T.V. when the giant came near my door. Suddenly, I threw the book I was holding in my hand at the giant, through the window.
I was watching T.V. when a giant came close to the house and I threw the book, which was I was holding in my hand, through the window at the giant.

Is that normal Angelika?

Re: virtual, tenses
Nope - it's the end of a long day. Delete the first "was".

Re: virtual, tenses
Thank you friends.
Are the following sentences correct?
(1) She was virtually collapsed when she was running about 100 km.
(2) Her fighting with her neighbour is a virtual war.
Please help me.
