Hello Teachers! Need some advice on passive voice, thanks!
Food and wine were flowed or flowed freely that night.
Should I use were flowed or flowed in the sentence above?
Could you also explain why it ( the correct answer) was used? Thanks soooooo much

Wine flowed that night.
You cannot use 'were flowed' because it is an intransitive verb- it doesn't take an object. ;-0

An intransitive verb is one that does not have a direct object. Some verbs are always intransitive (never have a direct object). Some may be intransitive or transitive (have a direct object) in different sentences.
