Which 1 is correct???

1. There is no better person to motivate me than I
OR

Between you and I, the secretary is not the gentleman.

Now here the correct answer is "Between you and me...."

Now at some places i find the usage is "you and I" like...

Jesus died so that you and I could be reconciled.

Can you pls point the differences. When should be used what..???

We use "you and I'" when it's the subject of the sentence.
