    Default ~ing/ to infinitive...

    Hi everyone...

    Situated at an elevation of 1,350m, the city of Kathmandu, which looks out on the sparkling Himalayas, enjoys a warm climate year-round that makes [living / to live] here pleasant.

    The answer sheet says living is right.
    Why not to live ?

    The answer sheet is right. After the verb "make" we can use the infinitive without to, but not here.
    eg. Bad weather weather sometimes makes people stay at home.
