Re: help with double comparatives "More faster" would be a double comparative, and incorrect. "Much faster" is fine.
Although "much" and "more" are similar in meaning, they are not exactly alike.
As Barb D says, "much faster" means "a whole lot faster."
A racing car is much faster than a donkey.
A turtle is only a little faster than a snail.
