i have a question about a fixed phrase i.e. i don't know its meaning. i'd very geatful if you could explain it to me. thanks in advance.

the phrase is as follows: 'dist & promotion'
and a context..: 'For new dist & promotions, what happens if someone has a team of 3, does 4000 OGV in month, they are Team Assoc or EC?'

That sounds like something that has to do with human resources policy at a company.

I'm having a hard time guessing what dist is an abbreviation for.

Has a new job-rating system just been announced, or a new way of assessing salary or bonuses? That's what it sounds like.

Thank both of you for revealing that abbreviation to me. In fact his a piece of .. hm.. let's say: ' an open letter.' It was followed by a FAQ with frequently asked questions. And this extract is one of those questions. I afraid I'm not allowed to give any detailed information about the company that produced it. Sorry
