| I can't think of a solution with that particular phrasing; it seems unusual to omit the article before "hangover". These are possibilities, though: 1. What did you do to save you from (having) a hangover? 2. What did you do to stop you from having a hangover? 3. What did you do to prevent you from having a hangover? 4. What did you do to keep you from having/getting a hangover? 5. What did you do to cure you of your hangover? MrP |
