Smile grammar check

1)is it gramatically correct to say you are heading to the north of the south west?
We had a serious clash today and all 3 of us were given the assignment to check out the correctness of the above mentioned statement.
Please any one out there could be of great help to us .

We are heading north or south west.
We are heading to Wales.
We are heading north across Mount Everest
