It's correct, Gary but it's isn't idiomatic.
I fell
to[over] [on] the ground after I [get caught]
tripped [against]
on the stone.
In English, at least in my neck of the woods, 'a stone' isn't considered to be such a large piece of material; 'a rock' or 'a boulder' would be more likely of a size to trip someone up.
