Default gift-matching

Hello everyone.
I don't understand the following expressions in bold. I hope you will explain them in easy English.

The company's Employee Gift-Matching program, which is just what it says, has made dollar-for-dollar matches to worthy organizations since 1963.

Thank you.

Your employer has a program.

If you give $1 to a chartiy, your employer will also give $1 to that charity.

If you give $100 to a charity, your employee will also give $100 to that charity.

For each dollar you donate, your employee will donate another dollar.

It's a nice benefit.
