Default Of which

Is the following sentence correct in terms of the use of "of which?" Thank you for your help.

- In 1990, he founded the real estate investment company, of which total assets now reach $50 million.

Disclaimer: I'm not a teacher.
It is okay to me. But for what reason you have to put "of which" in front of "total assets"? For emphasis? If not, I would suggest putting it back into its normal order, "total assets of which now reach $50 million"?

Anyway, I have seen such kind of construction before, say,
Of the children, two have been killed.
but not in the structure of your example.

In 1990, he founded the real estate investment company, the total assets of which now reach $50 million.

The above parallels to what Albertino suggested.

In 1990, he founded the real estate investment company whose total assets now reach $50 million.

Although ‘whose’ (the possessive case of ‘who’ & ‘which’) is usually used to refer to people, we also use it for things. This’s the reason for the 2nd proposed sentence. Some might disagree.
